Job Description: An entry level position designed to provide assistance to the daily tasks and responsibilities of the department by performing needed tasks, while following outlined departmental procedures and company policies.

Essential function includes, but are not limited to:

 Receive, route, complete paperwork, and ship all outbound shipments (Tissue, Medical Device, Recovery Partners) of the company via courier and express carriers.

 Use and navigate systems and applications used by Shipping (Lotus Notes, SAP, Microsoft, etc.)

 Retrieve tissue from appropriate freezer location.

 Perform daily tissue movement release to implantable inventory.

 Perform daily freezer temperature and level checks.

 Process tissue and medical device returns.

 Replenish the supplies used in all the shipping processes and tasks.

 Adhere to housekeeping procedures for the department and perform the tasks when assigned.

 Become familiar with dry shipper program.

 Receive medical devices and other ambient products into finished goods inventory.

 Perform freezer inventories and medical device cycle counts.

 Process courier PODs and update the Lotus Notes database; update SAP tracking information.

 Provide assistance with Marketing Literature and Exhibit requests.

 Assist with (Fed Ex/UPS) shipments for other CryoLife departments.

Qualifications:

 Minimum of a High School diploma, some collegiate education preferred

 Computer skills (Microsoft suites, SAP)

 Good written and verbal communication skills

 Detailed and organized

 Ability to lift 50 lbs.

**Hours: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 11:00pm and on call as needed.
