Company: Quality Care for Children Position: Early Head Start Bilingual Child Development Specialist Location: Atlanta, GA Posted: 04/11/18 Closing Date: 05/11/18 Job Description: The Child Development Specialist provides technical oversight to 10 – 15 family child care homes/group homes with up to 48 children. The Specialist works closely with the providers ensuring and supporting quality infant toddler care giving, programming to meet Early Head Start Performance Standards and full implementation of FCCERS, Quality Rated and Desired Results System of Accountability and continuous improvement. The Specialist provides educational/technical support to child care providers and facilitates the transition of children entering or leaving the FCCH to another program. The Specialist supports Family Child Care providers in parent conferencing and working with the early intervention community.
