Company: Lockheed Martin Corporation Position: Security Officer Location: Marietta, GA Posted: 05/17/18 Closing Date: Until Filled Job Description: Performs a variety of tasks including access control, issuing passes and badges, patrolling the facility on foot and in a variety of vehicles assisting employees, collecting, documenting and reporting violations, incidents, mishaps, etc. Uses a variety of police/security equipment to perform traffic and parking enforcement, protection of personnel, property and information including proprietary and classified.

Must complete and successfully pass a medical examination. Candidate must be able to pass a Physical Fitness Test within 30 days of start date. Must be able to qualify with required firearms (.40 cal Auto pistol, AR-15 Semi-auto rifle and 12-gauge shotgun). Work schedule & shift will be determined after initial training.

Desired Skills: POST Certification/Military Equivalent. Knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Etc.). Professional education/certification, Applicable college degree.

Basic Qualifications: Candidate must have prior Law Enforcement, Security, Military/Security Forces/Police experience and be able to qualify with required firearms (.40 cal Auto pistol, AR-15 Semi-auto rifle and 12- gauge shotgun). Candidate must possess a valid driver's license. Must complete and successfully pass a medical examination. Candidate must be able to pass a Physical Fitness Test within 30 days of start date.
