Company: Kaiser Permanente Position: Inventory Control Clerk Location: Atlanta, GA Posted: 09/27/18 End Date: Until Filled Job Description: The Inventory Control Clerk provides support to the Materials Manager by helping to establish and maintain supply inventory levels within various clinical departments located at various Kaiser Permanente locations. The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for meeting the supply requirements for each location, and overseeing the related transaction and supply logistics. This position provides Inventory Control support for three (3) Level l or Level II Medical Offices and under general supervision provides support to the Materials Management Coordinator at a Comprehensive Medical Center.

Essential Functions:  Prepares RAP (Replenishment Area Profile) forms, and submits requisitions on a timely basis to ensure supplies are adequate for each department. Replenishes all areas of responsibility in a timely fashion to avoid stock-outs. Receives supplies and equipment for the Medical Office Building. Completes the necessary receiving transactions in the IRCS-MMS system, and files packing slips. Handles product returns as necessary. Stores items in a manner that complies with regulations and standards.  Reviews and insures that all product and service requisitions have appropriate documentation and approvals, and are processed in a timely manner. Provides periodic feedback to requestors regarding lead times and delivery schedules. Coordinates the introduction of new products. Assists with product conversions. Receives and tags capital assets. Notifies Biomedical Engineering of incoming equipment for testing and tagging.  Assists the Materials Manager and Facility Dept. Managers / Administrators to establish par levels for key supplies in various clinical departments and locations.  Tracks consumption trends. Strives for continuous improvement in supply chain efficiencies. Assists with product and supply recalls. Keeps all supply areas neat, clean, and organized. Other duties as assigned by Dept. Leadership based on operational changes as needed.

Basic Qualifications:  High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.  License, Certification, Registration.  Current State of Georgia License required.
