Job Description: Utilizes computerized Human Resources systems and Microsoft Excel to maintain and update human resources data: updates and modifies employee and retiree information and records; verifies, processes, and scans documents; and generates routine reports. Performs customer service functions in person, by telephone or by email; provides information and assistance regarding benefits/pension; responds to routine questions or requests for service.
Assist in processing retirements: receives and reviews intent-to-retire documentation for vested participants; obtains necessary retirement documentation; prepares retirement estimates; schedules and conducts retirement meeting with vested participants. Provides administrative and technical supports to benefits administration.
Enters, tracks, and reconciles all terminations to ensure non-vested participants receive a pension contribution refund or vested receive a pension estimate. Prepares routine reports and handles routine correspondence relating to human resources transactions. Receives and responds to requests, complaints, concerns, and general inquiries; provides resolution accordingly. Investigates, verifies, and corrects errors and discrepancies on documents in order to process transactions accurately. Tracks and follows-up on reports and documents to be submitted by employees and human resources representatives.
