Company: WellStar Health System Position: Front Office Specialist- GME Family Medical Clinic Location: Kennestone Hospital – Marietta, GA Posted: 04/10/18 Closing Date: Until Filled Job Description: The Front Office Specialist is responsibility for multiple tasks including greeting customers, registering patients at check-in and checking them out, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and/or filing medical records. Reports to the Office Manager or Front Office Lead.
Required Minimum Education: Position requires a high school degree or equivalent. Required Minimum Experience: Prefer 2-3 years’ clerical experience in a physician practice. Required Skills: Computer skills essential. Medical terminology including coding needed (CPT-4, ICD-9/10, and HCPCS) Knowledge of insurance filing and requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's "Standards of Gold").
